22nd July - NBC Ladies - update from the Norfolk BC Ladies teams who continue to deliver (no pun intended) win after win..

Ladies National Top club last 32 played, on Saturday 20th July, against Brampton (Huntingdonshire) at Newmarket BC, very pleased to report that we got a good match win 3-1 and also the overall shots. Great performance from the ladies and we will now play Wellingborough (Northants) in the last 16 round by 4th August on a neutral green yet TBC.

County Top Club v Hunstanton played on Thursday 18th July, where the team managed a win on all rinks, but a very good tight game in all the individual matches. We now play the final on 10th August v County Arts at Thorpe Rec (time TBC).

Jermy Cup (county mixed trophy) success after a couple of tough matches we retained the title yesterday in the finals day played at Thorpe Rec.

The morning semi-final game against a team from Thorpe Rec playing on their own green was a very tight affair and only decided on the last end, with Norfolk BC winning by 2 shots overall. In the final, played in the afternoon, against Acle, we had a good start but they came back strongly in the latter stages although we eventually ran out winners by 10 shots
